Cancellation and refund policy…

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in your instructor's day that could have been filled by another client.  Therefore, our studio requires 48 hours notice for any cancellations except in emergency circumstances (see below). Patients who provide less than 48 hours notice, or who do not show up for their scheduled appointment, will be charged the full price of the session.

• Please give us at least 48 hours of advance notice for any cancellations. This advance notice gives us the opportunity to try to refill your slot. We prefer that you email to cancel or reschedule your appointments but we also except texts and phone calls for any scheduling needs.

• If we are able to refill the session time, there is no charge incurred, no matter when you cancel. Therefore, the more time we are given to refill the session time, the greater chance that you will not be charged.

​

• If the slot cannot be refilled, you will be charged the full price of your session - if you did not provide a 48 hour notice.

​

• Emergency circumstances can happen. Emergencies can include severe weather, acute illness or an injury that does make it possible for you to give the studio 48 hour notice. In these instances, we will evaluate each case individually.

• Illness - sick clients are encouraged not to come to the studio. If you are under the weather, please let us know with a 48 hour notice so that we may try to refill your slot. If you end up feeling better before the time of your session, let us know and we will either reinstate your session or accommodate you elsewhere in the studio schedule.

• Standing appointment cancellations – if, over a reasonable period of time, a standing appointment is cancelled frequently, we reserve the right to return that appointment time back into our general schedule. This policy refers to frequent cancellations that are not pre-planned with us in advance or to extensive travel / time away.

• Refund Policy: Any request for refunds will be handled on a case by case basis by contacting us directly by email at charlottemovementarts@yahoo.com

• Session packages have expiration dates as follows:  3 class package = months, 6 class package = 6 months, 12 class package = 12 months

​
